Ghost Layers & Color Washes - Three Steps to Spectacular Quilts

Simple steps will take your quilts to an exciting new level! Katie walks you through making a simple block using her 3 steps: Make a design based on a photo or drawing. Add a “ghost” layer that is lighter or darker than the base blocks colors. Create a color wash that allows use of even more colors in the quilt.
