RUTH
Ruth has been sewing since she was in the 5th grade, with her first project being an A-line skirt. Her creativity was influenced by her grandmother. She has won various ribbons and awards for her projects at county fairs and quilt shows. She was a leader for the 4H sewing club, and currently participates with the local guild. She has been sewing and embroidering on a Viking for years, and has learned how to use many of the Janome and Brother machines along with others. Over the years Ruth has made many many quilts using all kinds of patterns, rulers, and fabrics. Currently Ruth is teaching “One Block Wonder” a Kaleidoscope quilting class—if you have never made one you should, the whole process is amazing and the way Ruth teaches even a newbie can do it. She also teaches how to make a Log Cabin quilt, and is always willing to help answer any quilting or embroidery questions you may have.
