Supplies

FABRIC
> 1-3/4 yard green for leaves & 1 patch in butterfly
> ½ yard each of 5 other butterfly colors (not yellow or gold)
> 4 yard gold for butterflies & border
> 1-1/2 yard black for butterfly bodies & binding
> 6 yards of light background fabric
> 100” X 120" piece for back
> king size low loft batting (Warm & Natural, Fairfield Soft Touch, Hobbs Thermore,    Quilters Cotton, etc.)

TOOLS & NOTIONS
> paper scissors
> fabric scissors
> rotary cutter, mat, rulers
> iron & mat
> masking tape
> a few pins
> marking tools--( #2 pencil, white or yellow pencil, chalks)
> sewing machine with accessories incl. patchwork foot (walking foot if quilting by machine)
> universal needle for patchwork, specialty needle for quilt thread, hand needles
 all-purpose or cotton thread or cotton thread for patchwork, cotton or specialty thread for quilting.
> quilt basting spray (optional) or safety pins
> your personal tools such as nippers, unsewers, stilettos, etc.
